Public bug reported: The latest kernel in Feisty will not boot on my machine. It hangs with the following message:
USB HC reset timed out! can't start startup error -1 init 0000:00:0b.0 fail, -1 The system is an Athlon XP 2000, with PATA disk drives running off an Abit KR7A-133 motherboard's on-board controller. The USB (ver. 1.1) and PATA controllers on the motherboard were manufactured by VIA, which I've noticed is popping up in other bug listings from Feisty's kernel. ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.19 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Kernel hangs when starting USB controller.
