No, it's the same for all lenses, there is no additional blackmagic for
alt f2 ;)
Maybe if you can get a step by step that you can reliably produced + a
small video, (and just write in the report at which second you press
enter), that will help to see exactly what happens to you :)

if there is a long search happening:
- enter wait for the end of the search and launch the first entry
- double enter force launching the first entry shown right now.

Oh, weird. Is this maybe localised to the Alt+F2 lense? I'm encountering
it very consistently there, but on closer inspection it's doing what you
describe from every other lense :)
