Public bug reported:
The postinst script of mpd creates /var/run/mpd with the appropriate
permissions. However, /var/run is a tmpfs on Ubuntu systems, so the
directory disappears after a reboot, and then mpd fails to start.
The mpd init script should be responsible for creating /var/run/mpd.
