unless I set it up wrong, I modified my .asoundrc by adding
pcm.bluetooth {
type bluetooth
device 00:13:17:70:7E:F9
}
I can't select it via gnome, but it is (manually, its not enumerated)
selectable in apps like xmms (deprecated) and audacious via their als
the pulseaudio use should not make a difference on what is listed, do
you consider the issue fixed now?

Well. I'm running intrepid. I haven't managed to make things work with
pulse audio, so hard to say. The applet doesn't enumerate them, but it
perhaps would be set through pulse audio?
