You're right, I used the wrong word. And I'm not familiar enough with
nautilus to know there are different sidebar modes. Sorry I was
unclear.

yes, but this bug seems specific to the "places" mode of the sidebar, it
doesn't happen in the mode displaying the filesystem, your description
mentioning only "location", I can confirm it with your new description
which mentions "under places", thanks for the update!
