Marc, is the machine locked up or is the video just not working? Maybe
try enabling ssh and see if you can log into the machine after the
failed resume. If the system is still alive, please capture dmesg and
attach it.

This issue is present with the nouveau driver, the nVidia drivers do not
cause any issues with suspend.
