Since I have updated the nvidia driver to 270.41.19 (using x swat ppa)
everything work like a charm with 2.6.38 kernel

gigabyte p35 ds4, Intel Core 2 Duo E6750, nvidia 8800 GTS 512 (G92 chipset)
The kernel 2.6.35 works

same situation here, same kernel versions, also nvidia, amd64...
how do i produce the fancy list of attachments?
nearly downgraded right away but then noticed that on linux-
image-2.6.38-8-generic 2.6.38-8.42 Ubuntu Session runs fine in Safe
Mode. Also, as now tried, 2.6.35 works, too.
