Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: acpi-support

I hibernate by Z60t (2511-E5U) using Fn-F12 or using Hibernate either in
the logout menu or gnome-power-manager.

The system seems to hibernate.

When I power the laptop back on, it just reboot.... and then swapon fail
I have to mkswap again and edit the fstab to change the swap partition
uuid.

Kernel is 2.6.17-10-386
but it also fails with older kernels.

acpi-support has the following options:

ACPI_HIBERNATE=true
HIBERNATE_MODE=shutdown

I will attach the whole /etc/default/acpi-support

** Affects: acpi-support (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
