Yes it was copied, but since /etc/dhcpd was a link to /etc/dhcp3
some really strange things happened. It would have been nice, if
something like touch /etc/dhcp3/Can_be_deleted or something similar
had been created --- would make it a lot more clear which of the two
directories is old and not
The bug is still there...
For history reason, I had Ubuntu 10.10 Desktop 32bits version on my
media center/server. I updated it, and now I have to start the service
myself at each start. The configuration is copied in the both dhcp3 and
dhcp directorires, I tried whith full and rw-r-

dhcpd is not running as group=dhcpd any more. Bad. Can't give files
shared between dhcpd and named group read access. I have to give these
files global read access now --- really bad in terms of security!
