It doesn't affect Unity-2D. And by the way, it doesn't look to me, that
the German translations of the .desktop entry for Firefox in current
fully updated Ubuntu Natty Beta Version would be fully merged. Please
see this page [1] and the attached screenshot.

Please update to the latest build, this was fixed 5 days ago:
firefox (4.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu1) natty; urgency=low
* Bump the version number to 4.0 final. This is just so we stop confusing
people with rc2 in the version number, but the tarball is identical
