Public bug reported: My Yuan PD300 mini usb stick tv card does not work in Ubuntu (Dapper, Edgy or Feisty so far).
Initially there were some problems in the code which have now been fixed after some collaboration with the linuxtv.org people. The changes are included in the 2.6.19 kernel which is currently in feisty. However, it still does not work out of the box as feisty is missing the required firmware (dvb-usb-wt220u-02.fw). I have noticed that the dvb- usb-wt220u-01.fw IS there, but the dvb-usb-wt220u-02.fw is NOT there. It can be downloaded from here: http://www.linuxtv.org/download/dvb/firmware/ Any chance of having this included in feisty? Cheers PS: For more details on my card, refer the this webpage: http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/User:Woodsb02 ** Affects: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.19 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- dvb-usb-wt220u-02.fw not available in restricted modules package https://launchpad.net/bugs/76252 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
