I'm talking about default folders on my home folder like Documents and Vidéos
folders and also hidden folders like .config
These folders are duplicated and content is gone.
folders created by me are not affected

Could you please describe your setup before the upgrade and how you
upgraded to Beta 1 in order to try to reproduce it locally ?

upgraded from 10.10 to 11.04 beta1 with update-manager -d ( no problems ), then
applied updates with aptitude until problem occured on saterday the 16 after an
update this same date.
working with gnome and kde on encrypted home from first installation.
