Happened to me. shutdown ... restart resolved the problem. I have no
idea what precipitated it but will watch for it more carefully from now
on. It didn't affect a few other programs I tried - just Gedit.

What we need here is a reproducible test case like:
1. log to the ubuntu session
2. press numlock
3. put a window under the launcher…
This kind of reproducible steps will help us to debug the issue :)

I have an issue with various launcher items failing to work after so
long, and removing/readding them doesn't help (the icon is invisible).
any idea if that's the same bug?

It feels like a race condition somewhere between bamf, wnksync, compiz
and the launcher.
In the absence of a reproducible test case, I don't think we can put
that on the SRU list. Despite the importance of the issue, as it hits
the core of the launcher functionality.

Also, this bug is hard to reproduce and has no duplicates or me toos,
so I agree with the prioritization.

I don't really think this one can interfere. Anyway, Jason will have a
look at weird general regression in bamf from maverick (some matching
aren't good like Libro with an active open dialog) and we will prepare a
0-day SRU for bamf.
