I am running 12.04 beta 2 (64) with the latest updates and dragging
anything into a gnome-terminal icon or elsewhere on the launcher does
not work. I see only one way to do drag and drop is to set always on
top option for an opened terminal windows and then drag and drop file
into it. Very
I don't know why, but dragging mht to Opera don't working.

Actually it does work !! You have to drag the file on to the launcher.
The icon of the application that can open the file will be highlighted.
Just drop the file onto it, and the file will be opened in that
application.
In case of minimized application, dropping it into the application that
Hm, I tryed to do this with *.mht files and Opera and it didn't work. I
will try more.
Offtopic: How can you record this video? Is it applet on panel or
program in tray?
