I have just downloaded and install 7.04 Alfa 5
and the webcam worked perfectly well.

The driver seems to work for me (with another camera than the original
submitter, but one which used to use the spca5xx driver). Mark this as
fix released?

I've downloaded the gspcav1 driver from Michel Xhaard
http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca50x/Download/gspcav1-20070110.tar.gz and after a
make & sudo make install, and a reboot, evrything was working fine.
So I guess the driver (nor the former spca5xx) is not actually not included in
Feisty.

for this problem but I'm not sure which kernel version this concerns,
nor whether my comment has anything to do with this bug (Is this a
request for inclusion of the http://mxhaard.free.fr/ driver?
