Public bug reported: When I start a video in Totem it plays fine in windowed mode. If I try to switch to fullscreen, Totem crashes instantly. In a console window, I can see the following message:
The program 'totem' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'. (Details: serial 109 error_code 11 request_code 132 minor_code 19) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) totem: Installiert: 2.32.0-0ubuntu10 Kandidat: 2.32.0-0ubuntu10 Versionstabelle: *** 2.32.0-0ubuntu10 0 500 http://at.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Description: Ubuntu Natty (development branch) Release: 11.04 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.32-3ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Apr 23 02:33:23 2011 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/totem InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Beta amd64 (20110413) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=de_AT:en LANG=de_AT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gstreamer0.10 UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug apport-lpi ayatana-scrollbar natty running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/769290 Title: Totem crashes on switching to fullscreen -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
