Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity-2d
Switched to Unity 2D from Unity 3D to try to solve the problem of slow performance in dual-head mode. Was using 3D on a monitor connected to my Asus 1000HE's VGA port. Once 2D was running, added back the netbook's LCD panel. The Unity panel is now on the LCD panel (my leftmost display), but the Ubuntu logo button is on the external monitor (rightmost display). The panel is in the proper place, but the button should be directly above it on the leftmost display.
