Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pkg-config
cross-building tools and build systems will use <triplet>-pkg-config if it is present to ensure the correct directories are looked in for library information. This is necessary for dpkg-buildpackage to be able to cross-build many packages, and for any tool to correctly deal with a package that uses pkg-config for both build and host system libraries. This patch simply adds a generic wrapper script which can be linked-to with links of the appropriate names. These links are expected to be installed by cross-toolchain packages. ** Affects: pkg-config (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: cross-compiling -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/771567 Title: cross-compiling wrapper support for pkg-config -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
