Ok, just talked to Aurelien on IRC about this. While we have no
immediate guess at what could be broken, he suggested that klipper had a
hard time getting ported to statusnotifier, so it might be that they
pull some weird stuff in how they use the KStatusNotifierItem class
which then breaks menu bu
the issue happens outside of unity so it's not an unity bug, sending
back to klipper

This will help us to find and resolve
The menu ought to be drawn by Unity, so I doubt it is a problem in
klipper... moving bug.
