The file /var/lib/apt/lists/us.archive.ubuntu
.com_ubuntu_dists_natty_main_library-i386_Packages is corrupted. Please
remove it before trying the upgrade again.
I'm closing this report because it is not a bug with Ubuntu.

I am unable to remove the above mentioned file from /var/lib/apt/list folder.
Cut/delete options are not displayed.
Could you please advise?

To remove this file open a terminal (ALT+F2 and enter gnome-terminal) and enter
the following command:
$ sudo rm
/var/lib/apt/lists/us.archive.ubuntu.com_ubuntu_dists_natty_main_library-i386_Packages
This command will ask you your password and remove the file.
