My version is: 3.8.16-0ubuntu1~natty1 (unity)
I just retried but it still doesn't work for me: dragging a file on the
icon of a super-d minimised window does nothing.

Actually, when super-d is used, it works if you only want to drag and drop
your file on the launcher icon.
But if you want to drag your file on the launcher icon and wait for the app to
pop up, it does not work with super-d while working with the minimising
button.
I tried this with firefox,
Can't reproduce this here, super-d gets grabbed by the launcher and
pops it out. Also can you post what version of unity you've got?
