I have added the requested video. Looks like tankdriver is correct. The
window moves, which puts it barely onto the current desktop. Therefore
the desktop does not switch to focus on the window. If the window is not
next to the edge the behavior is not expressed.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this behaviour. Do you happen to be
using Unity 2D rather than Unity 3D?
