I want to be clear about this: even if the suppressing double-clicks
within .5 sec is an (IMO ill-conceived) feature, it’s unquestionably
wrong that the implementation continues to discard clicks after .5 sec
have passed. I can keep clicking all day and the menu will _never go
away_ as long as I’m
I can confirm this issue. Each consecutive click apparently resets the
suppression timeout, which is not how things are supposed to work!
Ideal solution:
- do not apply suppression to keyboard events. This is outright wrong
("double-click" is a mouse concept, not a keyboard one. Applying suppress
