Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

The launcher is set to 'Dodge Window' (the default). Activating the
scale plugin with two open windows draws the one window under the
launcher. I.e. the launcher does not correctly dodge the scaled windows
(screenshot). This happens whether the launcher is visible just before
activating scale or not. This also occurs with a single maximized
window. The launcher is hidden (whether in dodge or autohide mode), but
reveals itself as soon as scale is activated, which also covers the left
edge of the scaled window below it.

I noted that the launcher also displays itself when expo is activated,
even if it is not currently displayed. I cannot tell if this is by
design, but I would imagine that scale and expo would both want to hide
the chrome. Please correct me if this behavior is by design.
