available today, so I will try to reproduce the problem again.

I think I am seeing a similar condition. I think I got into it through
running VirtualBox with a VirtualBox window maximized.

Mouse click
I can reproduce the bug simply by moving the mouse pointer into and then
out of the KVM (qemu) window. When the mouse pointer is inside the
window it is seems to be "captured" and is hidden. The offset seems to
be related to the distance between the edge of the window and the
position of the pointe
