This bug as been fixed with the latest upstream release
2.5.0.4-1ubuntu3~gutsy1 which you can install on Linux Ubuntu Gutsy with
backports repositories enabled.

Same problem here. Very annoying. Only way to open a torrent seems to
be from the open dialog inside azureus

This is easily repeatable -- download a torrent file in firefox and hit
"open" in the download manager.
