Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus (system Ubuntu 11.04, Nautilus 2.32.2.1)
Select a file in nautilus, press F2, then the file name is automatically selected, press "ctrl-c" to copy the selected file name (not the whole path of file) Case 1: open gedit or leafpad what so ever, press "ctrl-v" to paste, the result is the whole path of the selected file, but I just expect the selected file name. Case 2: now select another file and press F2 (the second file name is now selected), then press "ctrl-v", nothing happened, but I expect the copied file name can be pasted here; after that press Esc or enter to cancel the selection of second file name, then nautilus gives another copy of the first file, but I never intend to copy the file itself. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: nautilus + (system Ubuntu 11.04, Nautilus 2.32.2.1) Select a file in nautilus, press F2, then the file name is automatically selected, press "ctrl-c" to copy the selected file name (not the whole path of file) Case 1: open gedit or leafpad what so ever, press "ctrl-v" to paste, the result is the whole path of the selected file, but I just expect the selected file name.
