I did the update to Oneiric while still Beta, but recently I noticed that the behavior has changed (Perhaps this is since the upgrade): The bottom ones are active when not plugged in. If plugged in, none is active (which is correct). So now I only need to know how to re-enable the top ones, whic

EDIT: (Is there a way to really edit an entry?) The "PCM" solution doesn't work, it switches of everything. (Jack/Top + Bottom) I had plugged in something to see if the internal ones would mute, but i forgot to check if the external ones changed. -- You received this bug notification because you

I found out some rather interesting things playing around with the ALSAmixer, a friend just showed it to me: I can controll the loudspeakers on the top and the TRS-audio-jack through "Headphone", and the bottom ones through "PCM" (whatever that is). This kind of solves the problem, though this sh

I already found a (strange) workaround: Plugging in something into the microphone-jack turns off the other two loudspeakers. This points IMHO to a software bug and not only a strange hardware arrangement. I don't know where to find a sound-log so I couldn't check if it says something about it. -
