Public bug reported: As I understand the goal of ubuntu is making linux easy for users, so that they don't have to use the console. What I miss in Edgy is an easy way to run a command as root withput using sudo in a terminal. I mean e.g. running gedit nautilus as root. E.g. the "run command" dialog could be extended to support that and be added again. I don't know why you removed it from the menu, this was a very great feature especially for windows users.
