this is what i recive - ubuntu 11.04, chickoney web cam (toshiba A205)

libv4l and my webcam have crashed gstreamer-properties, cheese, and
skype.
Gstreamer-properties crashes with this:
(gstreamer-properties:2972): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: Failed to deactivate
pad v4l2src5:src, very bad.
Subsequent attempts to use the webcam show this:
