multiple pages. It also switches off
The other bug (Bug #792106) is still in the waiting queue for getting
the stack traced retraced. This is needed to get an insight on what
causes the bug (at the first sight, it is not a problem in simple-scan
but in the scanner driver) and whether it is maybe a duplicate of an
already known bug.
Thanks for your email. Just keep me updated on any developments. If
it can be fixed I'll be delighted.
Cheers

create a new bug report with information
Thanks Marcel for your assistance. I did as you asked and got the following
in the terminal:
tony@tony-System-Product-Name:~$ sudo service apport start force start=1
[sudo] password for tony:
Sorry, try again.
[sudo] password for tony:
start: Env must be KEY=VALUE pairs
There has to be an underscore between force and start, i.e.
force_start=1 not force start=1.

You could mark it as public yourself (top right of the bug report page) or wait
for someone from bug control to do it for you (the reason for those reports to
be private per default is that they can potentially contain
Thanks again Marcel. I have marked the second report I made as
