I can confirm this, I'm running KXStudio 10.04.2. I'm not aware of any
PPAs providing =2.18, and from my limited experimentation a moment ago,
it seems to require an upgrade/compilation of quite a few cairo and
pygtk related packages in order to compile the required package.
