Public bug reported:

when suspending my laptop (HP Envy 15), using Ubuntu 11.04, sometimes
the suspend process fails, and the laptop ends up overheating with
maximum CPU load. there is no way to access the laptop anymore - one
cannot get even a character console. the only 'solution' is to hard
power off (press power button for 6 seconds)

on 10.10, suspend used to work fine, after applying a trick to unload
the xhci_hcd module

the above does not happen always, but say 1 in ever 3 occasions

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
