The kernels being used/tested here appear to be the mainline kernel
builds. The mainline kernels builds are produced for debugging purposes
and therefore come with no support. Use them at your own risk. It

From the comments, it sounds like this is a regression in the kernel
between versions 2.6.39.4 to 3.0.0-0300rc1. A git bisection search can
be utilized to narrow in on where the regression occurred. Please see

Another strange thing.
After installing 2.6.39.4/Oneiric-all.deb, -headers -image if I boot the
system in the default 3.0 kernel I cannot reproduce this bug

Actually i cannot reproduce it in linux 3, but looking at kern.log at the time
of it happens i found:
