Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-session

In Ubuntu Oneiric, gnome-session depends on Unity or Unity 2D or GNOME
Shell, but it doesn't allow me to remove all these shells and use a
different one (e.g. Pantheon). There should be a virtual package
provided by each of these shells, and the dependencies should look like
"unity | unity-2d | gnome-shell | virtual-package-name". This issue is
blocking all the fun in elementary OS which uses a custom shell with
gnome-session.

** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
