Wolf, did you upgrade from PostgreSQL 8.4 to 9.0 during your move to
2.0.7? I know when I upgraded to PostgreSQL 9.0 on our dev server, I
did not set the lc variables correctly and this slowed Evergreen
searching down a lot.

Mike, I have a fresh install to 2.0.7. The system worked for a while
but it has developed this hang in catalog search. I agree it is
probably not an ubuntu bug, but en evergreen bug.
