Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tomboy
There's too many times in which Tomboy's synchronization doesn't recognize that an updated local note is the same note as the one with the same name on the remote note, and asks to rename or overwrite the local one. Some kind of versioning with diffs should alleviate this issue. At the very least, there needs to be an option to overwrite the remote version instead of the local version if the remote version is the one that is out of date.
