If it's a complete lock-up, then that's a kernel bug; reassigning over
there, although I'm not sure how far we'll be able to get with it.

I would suggest looking at the changes between today's 20070127 and
yesterday's builds. This bug was fixed for all this week's daily builds
and reappeared just today.

Could you try pressing Ctrl-Alt-F1 and then Alt-F7 to switch away from X
and back? If that lets you proceed, then it's a known bug that I've
since fixed.

When it crashes, everything freezes - nothing responds, it's totally
locked up.
If you know of any way for me to obtain extra info please let me know
