First of all, thanks for the attention (glad to know this isn't a black
hole for tickets).
Ran into this issue again today, just moments ago. Minimizing and
restoring the application does indeed fix the problem (@Moustafa Chamli,
my right-click menus fail as well, next time yours start failing you
The closest to this issue I get is that right-click and drop-down menus
would disappear. All I'd need to do is minimize and un-minimize Firefox
to get them to work again.
It may be a window drawing issue, but it only seems to affect Firefox.

Hey, someone gave me an idea run from LiveCD, with Firefox 4, see if
the problem happens there, and then upgrade to Firefox on the
LiveCD environment (I think it's possible) and see if the issue
happens then.

This is very interesting. It seems like it might be a mouse issue, do you have
a regular plug and play mouse or a specialty mouse? Maybe the driver is messed
up and you just noticed it in Firefox because of the amount of menus and
navigation bars there are? I will ask and see if anyone has heard
I haven't been able to identify an action or series of actions which
will recreate this reliably. Notably, I recently updated to Ubuntu 11.04
from 10.10, and Compiz/Unity appears to have been having other,
seemingly unrelated issues handling mouse input (losing bindings for
screen corners, namely).
