Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed
in TB 9.0 which has been available for Oneiric users since two weeks.

That's odd, I just tried this on
thunderbird-9.0+build2-0ubuntu0.11.10.1 stock oneiric-updates and it had
a scroll bar.

Okay, we have a regression in version 10, I think. I just tried
thunderbird-10.0+build1-0ubuntu0.11.10.1 and that failed, ie it doesn't
scroll the accounts window.

Forgot to resize the window, this works on version 10 as well. Kent,
does the version in 12.04 still not work if you move the bottom of the
window up?

I installed thunderbird-trunk from the following PPA on 12.04:

There doesn't seem to be any difference in the behavior. The account
settings window is still elongated with no apparent way to scroll the
dialog.

Would you mind taking a look in to this? This still looks to be a
problem because the account settings dialog on my machine takes up
almost all the vertical real estate and I have a pretty generous
resolution compared to most laptops out there. It looks like there are
some patches in

I have the same problem, but on a 1024x600 netbook running 11.10. I've
not managed to find the appropriate controls in Unity to be able to
change the application font to try the suggested workaround.

I confirm that on Oneiric. Furthermore, if the window is reduced and fields are
hidden, there is no scrollbar to reach them.
Setting to High, because account setting is a core feature of the software, and
will have a severe impact on a large portion of Ubuntu users since
