Public bug reported: Oneiric dev branch, live DVD
On first login, jockey provides an OSD notification that "Restricted drivers are available" and then says something along the lines of "Non- free drivers can improve the function of your computer." or so. The message does not tell the user what to do to get these drivers, however. Neither a notification icon nor a launcher show how to proceed. Before Unity, there was a notification icon in the system tray. I'm not sure if that was intentionally removed, or if it is currently not working. Either the bug is that no icon/launcher is shown or the bug is that the notification text should explain what the user needs to do to launch jockey-gtk ("Additional drivers").
