x-loader-omap4 is only present in Maverick, not in recent/current
releases, and we don't tend to remove packages from old releases.

I didn't even notice when you first pasted this in IRC that it's a
warning, not an error. So, yeah, I don't suspect this is bug-worthy in
dpkg either, it's just expected behaviour for it to yell about bad
version numbers.
Cleaning out your crufty dpkg available file with dpkg --forget-old-
hrw@panda:~$ LC_ALL=C dpkg --forget-old-unavail
dpkg: warning: obsolete '--forget-old-unavail' option, unavailable packages are
automatically cleaned up.
anyway I will live with it or will remove it by hand one day
