Yes that is quite possible. A month after I made this report Dell
replaced the motherboard as a solution to an overheating problem. I did

The crash looks rather strange to me.
Is it possible you were experiencing overheating/hardware issues? Did
you notice other quirkinesses around that time that have since
mysteriously been resolved?
