How does the Ubuntu developer works ? Not in Terminal ?
I work in Terminal everyday, and it's a painful experience because of
this unreadable color scheme.

Though there's a fine line between "looks terrible" and "illegible", I would
agree that the default terminal profile could do with a readability update.
Especially image files -- shown in purple -- can be very hard do decipher
against the semi-transparent purplish black background.
