No pauses with cairo-dock -c. After that test, an updated kernel was released and I upgraded yesterday. With linux-image-2.6.38-10-generic, the issue seems to have gone away. glxinfo | grep OpenGL gives: OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation OpenGL renderer string: ION/PCI/SSE2 OpenGL version

Hello and thank you for this bug report. This is strange but it's maybe due to your video card and its drivers... Can you try to use the dock without the OpenGL backend? (cairo-dock -c) Which drivers do you use? Can you post the output of this command: glxinfo |grep OpenGL (mesa-utils package
