Public bug reported: After attempting to install simple-ccsm (which also failed, something with compiz-core), Ubuntu Software Center crashed.
I was told to update the following packages: software-center app-install-data apt apt-utils glib-networking initramfs-tools initramfs-tools-bin libcups2 libpam-modules libpam-modules-bin libpam0g libplymouth2 perl-base plymouth python-apt python-apt-common python-gobject tzdata ubuntu-sso-client x11-common And then initramfs-tools failed to update.
