Another question, do you kill gxine window very quickly? e.g. before it
properly comes up? Does it make a difference if you close the window
quick vs. slow?

Nicolas, where can I find the link http://teleplaisance.org/ on big
brother page? Is it still there? Can you produce this crash by directly
going that site too (e.g. without going to b.b. page first)?

My first guess is that this is either theme or gtk related. The line
gtk_style_detach: assertion `style-attach_count 0' failed
indicates that a gtk widget was missing theme or style information.
This is a pretty common issues but I am not sure of the root cause.
