Beryl does not display the full desktop correctly on screens wider than a combined 2048 pixels. It seems to be related to #define MAX_TEXTURE_RECT_SIZE 2048 in beryl- mesa/src/mesa/main/config.h My System uses an ATI Radeon 9800 using the "radeon" drivers in Ubuntu Edgy with AIGLX. Dual screen setup with MergedFB - works great with Metacity. Beryl gives me partial screen coverage - about 2000 pixels worth.
