At the CD prompt press F6, then go at the end of the parameters line and remove
quite and splash then press enter.
You'll see the boot in text mode and I think see the crash which can be what we
call a Kernel Panic.
At this point it'd be interesting to have a picture of that (if you have a

can you remove the splash parameter from the kernel line and post the
last lines you see during the boot ? (maybe a kernel panic)
