Have hit this on Ubuntu12.04 64bit: I attach the .crash from /var/crash.
May be a usefull stacktrace is producible.
I was in /var/log/ and opened lastlog with gedit. Than the crash
happends to nautilus.

My system is on 31.12.2011 fresh updated just before the crash.
